Where Am I In My Loneliness? Poem by Shalom Freedman

Where Am I In My Loneliness?

Where am I in my own loneliness
In my I I I me world?
Where am I
When myself is the all and all
The endless center around which everything reflects?

Where am I in my own loneliness
When I am the most important to I
And I I I I I I I is the endless song night and day?

An I without a you
Is not much of an I
An I alone troubles its own existence.
