Where Are You Now? Poem by Airda Jones

Where Are You Now?

Rating: 5.0

Will you ever go
To leave me here
Alone by myself
Without you in my future

Abandon me so as
To leave me with little hope
Only wishes and prayers
Could, with my dreams, elope

Standing as a weed
An outcast from the rest
Left to defend my existence
That would be far from the best

Altough this would be
Far from the truth
The one that is the farthest
Would only be you

Promise to never leave
To be there anyhow
Always by my side but
Then where are you now?

promises made this far remain farthest so far...the second stanza lines expressively bring out the turmoil inside the mind...powerful write sad though...10
