Where did you go,
Why does my heart miss you so?
The days are too long,
The nights I am not so strong.
Lost without your love,
Looking for you up above.
Dreaming of you in every way,
Draining my life every day.
Beckoning God for your light to shine down,
Begging and pleading while kneeling on the ground.
Caught in a never ending trap,
Catching a glimpse of you is what I want back.
Sorry for grasping too tightly,
Surrending my heart I did not take too lightly.
