Where Eagles Fly

Rating: 5.0

Oft heavy is the heart of man
Who play in life the fool
He’ll kill and cheat where’re he can
Still blind as Satan’s tool

To keep us free from sin and shame
Where no one can be bound
We need to rise in Jesus’ name
And seek the higher ground

We need to walk with Christ ahead
God’s Son knows how and where
We’ll catch the wind where eagles spread
Their wings up in the air

Through flesh and bone this can’t be done
No hope has man to win
It’s by the grace of God the Son
That man takes flight from sin

Climb up to where the eagles fly
Though faith may yet be small
To rise in Christ we’ll reach up high
We’ll trust Him not to fall

Upon the wing we too can soar
If when in faith we dare-
Leave closed behind the devil’s door
And shake off every snare

Amidst the clouds we’ll swoop and dive
Avoiding Satan’s lies
When safe in Christ, we’ll live and thrive
Beyond the serpent’s eyes

As living flames we’ll take to wing
Where eagles fail to climb
To drink from God’s eternal spring
Beyond the end of time……..
