Where have they gone
Why do I now see only shadows
Where is the song
Why do I now hear just echoes
Where is the love
The fire that used to burn
The darkness beckons
Is that where all must return
Where have they gone
The ones I hoped to follow
Tell me, my heart...
Where do I go now

The mood of this one is so poignant. You ask beautiful, unanswerable questions with style and grace. Warm regards, Sandra

Sometimes we seem to cross a border in our lives, where the old maps are empty and the old songs aren't sung. Then, it's time to climb to a high place, take in the view, draw a new map and learn a new song. A lovely poem Sonya. Poignant is exactly the right word. Take care, Nomad.
