Where I Went Wrong (a song)

Note: I know this is stupid, but I was bored one day and wrote a song for Ryan Ross and Brendon Urie from Panic at the Disco. If you don't understand the meaning of the word 'Ryden, ' then you probably won't understand this song. But you can read it anyway, if you want.

why has this day come?
I wake up and I roll over, and you're not where you're supposed to be
I curse the sun
I curse the empty left side of the bed, because you were all I wanted to see
where have you run off to?
another dream, another lover, don't tell me because I don't want to know
where will you move on to?
another song, another road trip, and I can't be with you unless I go

why didn't you say you loved me when I said that I loved you?
are you too embarrassed to admit that you feel something for me, too?
the end of the day is the same as the beginning
I lose, and I lose, and I lose
now I'm stuck here staring at your empty closet
all you left was a pair of designer shoes
and as I wonder as I'm writing you this song...
where did I go wrong?

two years on the road
I don't remember when our love started its decline
I have the same chances
as every other one who screams your name, I can get in line
tell me what's wrong, I said to you
one night as we left the hotel
you said, it's been so long, playing the same songs...
I'm sorry to say that we're not doing too well

why do you blame me for everything that didn't go right?
I wasn't with you for the money, I loved talking to you and staying up all night
there's so many people who want me now, I want you, I want you, I want you
would they stop showing up to the shows if only they knew
and I wonder, did I just wait too long?
where did I go wrong?

you don't know how you have hurt me
and I'm too far away to tell you the truth
when you were with Keltie
you said it yourself, she never cared half as much as I do
for you

why didn't you say you loved me when I said that I loved you?
are you too embarrassed to admit that you feel something for me, too?
the end of the day is the same as the beginning
I lose, and I lose, and I lose
now I'm stuck here staring at your empty closet
all you left was a pair of designer shoes
and as I wonder as I'm writing you this song...
where did I go wrong?

why do you blame me for everything that didn't go right?
I wasn't with you for the money, I loved talking to you and staying up all night
there's so many people who want me now, I want you, I want you, I want you
would they stop showing up to the shows if only they knew
and I wonder, did I just wait too long?
where did I go wrong?

not telling you that I've loved you all along...
that's where I went wrong

Poem of the Day

poet Edmund Spenser

My love is like to ice, and I to fire:
How comes it then that this her cold so great
Is not dissolved through my so hot desire,
But harder grows the more I her entreat?
