Where Nothing Can Be Hid Poem by Dorsey Baker

Where Nothing Can Be Hid

Rating: 5.0

your pompous words
speak weakness
loud and clear
its just an ocean
of air
its just a stream
of slimy bitterness
its origin unknown
its destination
where its never been
deep in the darkness
its coldness is felt
its ugliness is visible
its vulgar mouth is heard
colors unravel in splendor
catching up is like
rain pouring down
room for uneasiness
and a closet full of
skeletons
fearing their fate if
their unfaithfulness
is exposed
in the light of truth
where nothing can be hid

An excellent and detailed imagery depicting truths being hidden until lights are shone upon them. Very intense rhythm throughout your poem, giving a more forceful meaning to your words and message. Really great poem! Thank you for sharing it. RoseAnn
