Where's The Good In Goodbye? Poem by Ging Taping

Where's The Good In Goodbye?

Rating: 3.5

Goodbyes break your heart
It can tear you apart..
Sentiments never subside
Other's commit suicide..

Goodbye see you soon..
Goodbye don't come back for more
Don't ever step back anymore..

Goodbye it's the end of the world
Goodbye awaits a new beginning
Goodbye eradicate the pain of darkness
And save the best for last..

Where's the good in goodbye? ?

i like how it taps into more than just one mood of Good bye.

for the most part, the poem makes saying “goodbye” sound like a negative experience, but in the following three parts, there is at least hope for a positive outcome. “Goodbye see you soon..” and “Goodbye awaits a new beginning” and “Goodbye eradicate the pain of darkness” [I’m not sure I understand this part] the title is catchy and the poem gives one something to think about (if one likes to think about things!) I like the little bit of rhyming. and I like the poet’s note! bri :) thanks. I’ll send some ‘suggestions’ privately.

“Goodbye eradicate the pain of darkness” [I’m not sure I understand this part] meaning goodbye in this line will put an end of sadness

Wow an interesting title that puts forward a true question. Goodbyes are not always good and yes can be real saddening. Kudos for this lovely poem. Nice to read from you again.
