Why does time move so fast?
What you thought was present, was already the past
The sun that shined turned into a moon
Clouds up high just seem to loom
We're taught to look up ahead
What happened to where we stand instead?
What matters about the day I got here?
What matters about the day I disappeared?
Its more important that I'm here now
Its never about the adios or the ciao
Make the best of everyday
Eat, laugh, love, pray
I hope you send this message to everyone
So they live a life of happiness and fun
Time will move, never stopping
We can move, always laughing
Don't stop in your tracks just to look back
Or you'll be stuck, always in the past
Stay where you are
Where you stand
