While it is New.
While it feels Hot to the touch of the heart.
While it sparkles with dazzling beauty.
While it gives off great and alluring fragrance.
While its presence inspires life and love.
While Love is brand New and steaming Hot.
It simply is amazingly desirable while it is new and hot.

While it is new and hot,
Do not hesitate or let your heart hold back in fear.
Touch it and feel its heat.
Gaze upon it and see its beauty.
Taste its sweetness.
Love and share in its life.
Let your heart beat for that which loves you in return.
As long as it remains new and hot.

It will not remain the same long enough.
Passions will burn out.
Love will struggle and gasp for life.
Ties will be strained.
Tears will roll and
Hearts will be broken.

But if you took your chances while it was new and hot,
Perhaps you will come to see
That you discovered much.
Much that you can keep with you as treasures of the mind
Till they are nibbled away by the teeth of time.
Then you will be free again to discover
Fresh grounds; New and Hot.
When you have found it
Let the lessons so learnt guide and keep you.
