Whipped Puppy Poem by Delainey Lopez

Whipped Puppy

I'm a puppy with an owner.
I love him with all my heart.
Our relationship was always fun.
But it all came to a halt.
You puts me on a short leash.
And you yank back on it alot.
I whimper but you just yell.
When I make a mistake you yell.
And it's becoming a daily thing.
You are constantly yelling and grabbing my mouth.
What do you not understand?
I am just a puppy!
What did I do to upset you?
When people visit they don't see the real you.
You pretend you love me when you just beat me.
Im tired of being your chew toy.
I can't take no more.
So either beat me to my death,
Or let me run.
