Whiskey - Poem by Benjamin Michael Clark

Swallowing whiskey
Is like swallowing
A hornet

You don't appreciate
Your temple-

You poison it-
You scorn it-

& When you
Sober up-

You know you
Need more

So you take
Another sip

the sting

As you set your
Temple walls
