Whispering Wind
The whispering wind
gently blows through
the trees
refrains
of an old love song
are heard
leaves gather together
lend an ear to listen
images of the long ago
once more beg my attention
oh face of yesterday
now hiding in the shadows
our togetherness
almost a memory now
with the passage of time
yet the whispering wind
remembers
recreating magic moments
A beautiful memoir of lovely bygone days, imagined to be heard in the whispers of wind.
