Whispers Poem by Diana Euyoque

Whispers

Rating: 5.0

Whispers scream for my Sacrifice,
And with Them I cannot argue,
Their hunger I must Suffice,
If I want to live a life that is True.

Whispers come and take me,
I open my arms to You,
Your need and want I can see,
Your despair my way you blew.

Whispers hesitate not,
Myself I do with Pleasure offer,
It is true, that my heart with fear is tied in a knot,
But you I cannot bear to see Suffer.

Whispers take me in,
That silver dagger in my heart drive,
Make my Mind spin,
For I know my Blood will thrive.

Whispers I belong to You,
No longer can they take me Away,
For the edge on your dagger the Bloody line drew,
And now I am here to stay.

Whispers You have given me a Home,
You have found a Light in me,
To me my Destiny You have shown
I thank You because You set me free.

Interesting read. Nice flow, and the rhymes work well. Thanks for sharing.
