Whispers In The Wind Poem by Jay Aguiniga

Whispers In The Wind

I sense you watching me
The night chill over comes me
Out of the corner of my eye,
shadows of you moving in the darkness
You have me running away, but I keep coming back
So much distress, I merely regress.
Your Whispers in the wind
They are calling me in,
It will be my undoing,
The beginning,
The beginning of the end.
Whispers in the wind
I try to pretend...
This pain wont overextend.

I'm trying not to think about you and me
All the pain that you gave me.
Its the essence of your heart
That makes my own bleed,
Oh how I plead, not this deed.
Why cant you just leave me be?
Your Whispers in the wind
They are calling me in,
It will be my undoing,
The beginning,
The beginning of the end.
Whispers in the wind
I try to pretend...
This pain wont overextend.

I gave everything to you and me
Believe me I loved you, don't follow me.
I have nothing left in my eyes.
The feelings I'm trying to suppress
Nothing to caress, my nucleus a mess
Why cant you just leave me be?
Your Whispers in the wind
They are calling me in,
It will be my undoing,
The beginning,
The beginning of the end.
Whispers in the wind
I try to pretend...
This pain wont overextend.
