White Feathers. Poem by Lizzy Tomlinson

White Feathers.

She sits alone, on golden sand,
Watching surf toss o'er the waves,
Reflecting on a life thats past,
Caught up in her memories.

Gazing up at cloudless sky,
She sees a vision in the air.
Softly, gently, in the breeze,
It floats to her, a white feather.

A message sent from high above?
It's not the first that she has had.
They come to her each time she is,
Feeling lonely. Feeling sad.
