White Lie Poem by rachael broken

White Lie

The days get longer
My heart faster
I think I am going to puke
All because of one lie, a lie I said to you
My head hurts and my breath stops
I think I just passed out
Now we are in the emergency room
Using the automated external defibrillator to bring me to life
They bring me back and all I can think of
Is how a lie can kill you inside
I can't tell the truth, and lying only hurts
What am I to do
When a lie can change your life?
