White Trees Poem by Nicole GravellPellerino

White Trees

Rating: 0.5

The trees are bare tonight
their gangly limbs and bony fingered arrows
pointing to the ghostly full moon
shinniny luminously over head
casting murky shadows
on the frozen land

unearthly they seem
like creatures from another realm
vulnerable and naked
yet still sure of who they are
safely
watched over by the stars
