Who Are You? Poem by Denice Woods

Who Are You?

Rating: 4.0

Who are you
To take my heart,
My soul
And ruin me
Like that
I'm utterly destroyed...
And it's of my own doing.
I made the concious decision
To step into your world.
Yet still,
Who the hell do you think you are
Playing with my emotions
Thriving of my pain
Eating from my circumstance?
Some see me as negative
But I beg to differ
I was once told not to live in LaLa Land
Well, I was HAPPY there.
Now I can't go back.
The portal to LaLa Land is closed
Oh, and just so that you know,
I'm no victim,
I've been down this road before,
And I still live to talk about it,
You might have put a crack in my exterior,
I guess doing that
Was a part of your plan,
But like you said 'plans are meant to be changed',
So I'm making changes of my own.
I bet not even YOU can't answer my question:
WHO ARE YOU?
