Who Can Hinder

Who can hinder the rising sun?
The stars reflecting light
The moon upon its daily run
Appearing at night

As long as these still rise and shine
And Heaven’s high above
So long will Christ The living Vine
Produce His fruit of love

So who can stop the gratitude?
The tears of joy that flow
The progress of the multitude
Whilst to The Cross they go

Stand up and make The Truth your choice
Allow the facts to stand
Arise and shine at Jesus’ voice
And take His mighty hand

Nothing can stop your victory
Prevent you rising high
Your childlike eyes one day to see
Who chose for you to die

Be bold be strong give Christ your trust
Let faith stretch forth its wing
And whilst around you turns to dust
Take joy for God to sing

Though all of hell may challenge you
Though Satan recalls your shame
Allow your God to share His view
By calling Jesus’ name

Let Jesus rise allow Him shine
Let Jesus arm prevail
Let Heaven’s love be yours and mine
And sun and moon grow pale
