Who Do You Think You Are? (Payback) Poem by Kim Jones

Who Do You Think You Are? (Payback)

Who do you think you are,
To come here and rip up my dreams,
Like the old roots of a fallen tree?

Who do you think you are,
To come here and tell me that I can't do it,
That no one will ever care?

I'm here to say what I can't say to your face,
Because you might just swing your ugly words back,
And wring my heart like you did before.

Who do you think you are,
To think you're better than everyone else,
To think no one but you can feel their words?

I know you feel lost,
I know you have your own burdens,
But I also know that's not an excuse for what you've done.
