Who Is Arguing? Poem by Herbert Nehrlich

Who Is Arguing?

Rating: 5.0

The substance called ascorbic acid
is ordinarily quite placid.
A potent anti-oxidant
it cannot be a sycophant.
You see, a sycophant will try
to flatter you, then steal your pie.
AA will give but never take
so be advised, the chemist spake.

Hey, Herbert, I'd like to know more about this debate as well. I am into health and wellness and I am intrigued.

Dear Allie, this was actually a response to a doctor from Holland who proposed that Vitamin C could be an antioxidant. It cannot. I shall send you a snippet. Best H

A neat little piece about a neat little vitamin - which I take daily and have done for years. I'm sure it's warded off many coughs and colds. love, Allie xxxx
