Who Killed The Snake? Poem by Ibnu Din Assingkiri

Who Killed The Snake?

I am just an extra in this film
patch roles, cut and paste
deeply aggrieved, disbelief
I am depressed to the feet
over qualified, under paid
with so much grieves

I followed his directions
the power crazy director,
he wants me to kill a snake
roaming strays on the set
so I beat him to death instead,
Oh dear, they look very similar!

Sometimes.. sneaky attitude well was observed in modern and selfish society. The poet made me smiles but still slicing selfishness and sly with the edge of the poem itself... no different between greedy and manipulative man with the poisonous sneak. Well written about the concept of selfishness.
