Whole Poem by Abyssinian Queen

Whole

You look up into the sky and see the whole ness that it provides
You try to ignore the hate you have inside
But the black's and the brown's are the tones that define a life that is deprived.
You see the life you could have survived
But can't pretend that you fit in a society that is controlled by a bunch of lies.
Skin color as an excuse to pleasure the darkness they hold inside
However you can't fight the system without others by your side.
The struggle to believe your worth
That is too deep inside sinks as your family turn a blind eye.
The 'official religion' believes its God's divine decision to discriminate the colors that exist because of His perfect decision.
To afraid to act we sit here and Imagine a place where we can be proud of our color, which is never second to any other.
However we are a supreme beings, so hold tight to your dreams because soon they will be as whole as the sky and sea.
