Whose Hand Was It?

Mama once lost a purseful of money
The poor woman
That she was.
Saved from a lot of
Hard work and
Self denial.
The poor woman
Almost lost her mind, too.
Another found it
And said that God
had blessed him, that
He had a hand in it,
and praised him.
But what was Mama to do
Or say?
That the devil had a
Hand in it,
and curse him?
