In the heat of the moment is when things go awry.
You say this, And I say that.
Its your word versus mine.
Its my thoughts up against yours.
Who's to say who is right?
Who's to say we're not both wrong?
Its in these moments when our feelings are at their weakest.
Both of us not afraid to knock down the other.
All guards up, that we tend to forget what its all about.
Where we don't remember the argument.
And it all becomes a huge contest.
Who's to win?
Neither you nor me.
All that is really accomplished is pain.
Now it becomes,
Who's to blame?
