I don't know why
I don't know when
But somewhere along the line
I've forgotten to show you that I care

Maybe I'm just self-centred
And don't think enough about others
You often say to me
'You just don't think'

I know you deserve better
For although you have a temper
I know you'd give the world to me
But this I just don't see

It's like I don't know how to love you
I don't know how to show my feelings
This is so wrong
When our love was so strong

Where did I go wrong
How did I muck things up
It's like we're just stuck
In a really big rut

Somethimes I just wish
You would just leave
It would break my heart
But you would be free

You could find someone better
Someone to show you her love
And to appreciate all that you do
Because I know I don't show this to you

I take you for granted
You are always there
A shoulder to cry on
Someone who cares

Although I often feel
Taken for granted too
At least you show affection
But I don't know how to

You are loving and caring
And love me to bits
So why can't I show you
I feel the same too
