I have never been the most beautiful,
Others may say i am smat but i am not sure,
Surrounded by so many friends i felt so alone,
Then i go and do a stupid thing.

Falling in love was new to me,
Seeing your smile made my heart race,
A look was enough for me to blush,
Then you go and do a stupid thing,

Sure she is prettier than me,
She may even be smater,
I could never hate her for that,
Then my best friend went and did a stupid thing.

I do not know whether to agree with the words
'It is better to have loved and lost then never to love at all',
Simply because i have never loved before,
Why did cupid do such a stupid thing.

When i see you i do not know whether to run into your arms,
Or run from you and let tears flow from my heart,
It is selfish to keep you as a friend,
Why did i do such a stupid thing.

Though you can never be mine,
I cannot stay away from you,
I would never blame either or you for this pain i feel,
Perhaps i just need to leave and start anew.
