I cry for the fact that life isn’t fair
I cry because you are off with someone who doesn’t love you
I cry with my oblivious family in mind
I cry for the idea that it’s all my fault
I cry because I can’t change – I am so in love with you
I cry with my shattered heart

I go numb for the fact that you don’t care about me
I go numb because there you go again
I go numb with the thought you don’t know what you want
I go numb for the idea that I keep trying to get over you – and failing
I go numb because I can’t move on
I go numb with the lies that you love me – you wouldn’t have moved on
