Why do I get this feeling?
As if something of a greater significance
Is being taken away from me!

Why do I get so restless at night?
There is no one left to hurt
There is no one left to leave me

What are my eyes always searching for?
When everything that I have
Is right here in front of me

All that you can rely on
All that you can fake
Are bound to break, somehow
Apart from some unreliable memories
Nothing ever stays

Some of em you take with you
While others remain
To find another dawn
To find another day
