Why Else Would He Die?

Who wants today God’s Lamb and Christ
Who’ll seek God’s only Son
Consider Jesus Sacrificed
Consider all He’s done

We’ve faiths and creeds now everywhere
Religion seems to thrive
There’re many gods receiving prayer
But only One’s alive

There’s but one God who’s Lord and King
Who’s throne’s eternal flame
The only One whom angels sing
Almighty is His name

Jesus! Jesus the perfect man
The God who walked the earth
Fulfilling love’s eternal plan
As child of virgin birth

But who’ll believe such love displayed
Who will accept God’s Word
Allow The Truth their hearts invade
And live by what they’ve heard

Read the bible give it a try
Study it on your own
Allow your spirit man to fly
Before The Master’s throne

Study The Word front to rear
Examine it for fault
Let Jesus fill your heart with cheer
Your precious soul with salt

Open your heart widen your view
Let God your soul set free
Why did He die if not for you
Why does He live in me
