The boy says to the girl every time I see you are reading or writing
She tells him, I read for hope
I read out of love
In hopes to know love
I write for clarity
In hopes to breathe an internal sigh of relief
I read to be flooded by someone else life
In hopes of forgetting
I write, to read, for truth for the strength to look ahead
