Why Is The Sky Red? Poem by Reginald Goodridge

Why Is The Sky Red?

Rating: 5.0

perhaps, I suppose
my blood clogged, without flow

maybe, I guess
my fears crept, from under my breath

a thought, I think
my understanding shifted, it blinked

non-the-less
it's red and I must address
this mess
this rift
this cleft

bring back my sun
my endless times undone

my sea, my emerald green
my sky, my shimmery blue
my earth, my multicolored brown
my love, my purest white, hue

perhaps, I suppose
maybe, I guess
a thought, I think
it will all come back to subdue this mess...
