'Why? ' is what we want to know,
'do all the stars in heaven glow? '
'Who? ' & 'where? ' & 'what? ' & 'when? '
we ask ourselves - but we are men
not gods whose knowledge can embrace
these massive bodies hung in space.
While mighty stars are born and die
we simple humans whisper: 'Why? '
Very true. Humans always need to know why, and you put this so eloquently. Nice job Mr. Purdy. S.

Now this is truly good; I really like this; it flows smoothly, into the deep question of a great mystery.
