Why Should I Be Afraid? Poem by Roxanne Dubarry

Why Should I Be Afraid?

Why should I be afraid of whatever the future
holds for me? Because my eternal destiny
has already been determined for me.
My name has been written in The Lambs' Book
of Life from the foundation of the world.

My gift of everlasting life was already
given to me, all I had to do was believe!
A wonderful future awaits me.
Some day Jesus Christ promises
to return for his bride.

The rapture of the church
could happen without much
further without delay.
The dead in Christ
will be the first to rise.

Then we who are still alive,
will meet them in the middle
of the sky!
