Why Should I Love You Poem by Kimberly Hope

Why Should I Love You

You don't give me the love I deserve,
no respect do I receive from you.
So why should I give you what you want?
All of my time, on my special day,
and to give up my hard-working self to you?
No. No I will not.
In fact, I wish to refuse you.
I refuse to speak with you,
I wish not to look a you too;
for fighting is all that we do,
verbally and physically.
Leave me alone,
don't ask me anything,
let me move out,
out and along my way,
all on my own, with my love.
