Why You
I am sorry that,
i ever fell for you,
this emotional attachment,
my heart strings unties,
the way i feel,
can never be expressed,
but it doesn't change,
i cant love you less,
it wasn't serious,
or so i always thought,
now i just cant let go,
and it just hurts,
my hearts funeral,
i carry this coffin,
it lies still loving you,
you were everything,
i knew i shouldn't try,
i knew it was wrong,
even if i didn't care why,
if we got involved,
either way i knew,
a forbidden love,
it was inevitable,
the pain i now feel,
easier to accept things,
that will never be real,
but you taste so sweet,
you feel so warm,
you won my heart,
love you forever if i could,
where do i go from here,
how do i dry my eyes,
all those days from 5 October 2009,
i wasted just to say goodbye,
how do you feel now,
yes i still care,
that was is lost,
but is still there,
why are you so perfect,
cant you just be wrong,
the fact you're so amazing,
without you is wrong,
i love in a way,
that i can never let go,
these feelings maybe use,
at least you know,
i need,
not just want you,
wish it was someone else,
just not you...! ! ! !
Beautifully written and a unique metaphor, a forbidden love, 'my hearts funeral, / i carry this coffin, it lies still loving you, ' is quite wonderful.
Dear lady i live with this daily too.. perhaps its not them perhaps its just us disliking that we are committed and wishing to sever the ties through fear of things crashing....i love this write as through my version of events and life i totally understand this... tyvm karen
wish it was someone else, just not you...! ! ! ! The person in this poem has come to her senses and at last decides something that is very useful for her in future, instead of fighting for the same man and his attention day and night through out her life. Girls, When we have the opportunity to have a person for our own use, why do, a few of you, go after another person's boyfriend or a husband?
'my heart's funeral, I carry this coffin, it lies still loving you. Wow. Beautiful, sad, lonely. how do I dry my eyes. Gawd, yes, how? Keep writing until all the feelings have left. Just wonderful, would love the words to stay in my brain so I can say them over and over. So poetic
Can definitely feel all those mixed up and crazy emotions come through! Love how they come straight from the heart. As if you just sat down and wrote out everything this person makes you feel. Well done! An honest write!
