Why You? He Was There
He was there, when you ignored me,
He was there, when no one else could see:
I was innocent, innocent till proven guilty,
Not that you cared, you just wanted
To get rid of me.
He was there, till my innocents was proved,
He was there, until the very first stare;
After 11 weeks we finally spoke...
And yet, you still do not care.
He was there, through the pain and tears,
He was there, to listen to all my fears,
My heart locked in chains; couldn't break free -
And all you did was believe the rumours 'bout me.
He was there, by my side the whole time,
Yet it's still you I love, still you on my mind?
He was there, him, not you.
So why is it you I love? I wish I knew...
