Wild Fire's End Poem by wild fire

Wild Fire's End

I stand before you,
unafraid like a panther
you speak the truth
but i am not ready to listen.

Defective, selfish, hate?
those are strong words.
You want to decide my fate,
but fate holds nothing for me.

The clouds are rolling in,
severe storms are in your eyes.
I know this is are end.
Heat spreads like a wildfire.

You are my one,
the one I'll always love.
Wildfire threatens all we've done,
and I can't help it.

Try as you must
your storms can't put me out
out of fear, I cannot trust
now I see your retreat.

A final kiss goodbye,
you leave as your storms fall away,
those tears I see you cry
sear through me...
