Will I Be Here Tomorrow Poem by Leon Thomas Lee

Will I Be Here Tomorrow

Rating: 3.5

Will i be here tomorrow to see another day
Will i hear of another child running away
Can i face the suffering and pain
To see another person driven insane
Will i be here tomorrow to see a child with no food to eat
Will i be here to see people without a place to sleep
Will i be here when another bomb is dropped
Will i be here to uncover your remains under the rock
Will i be here tomorrow to hear another
Young person on drug and the pill
Will i be here when another family has been robbed and
Killed
Will i be here when there is no money in the bank
Will i be here when the business men sink
Will i be here tomorrow when there is no gas in the car
Will i be here when there is no twinkle in the star
Will i be here when the teacher can't teach
The preacher not allowed to preach
Will i be here to see another child grin
Or will i be here tomorrow to see
This world drifting deeper in sin
