Will You Marry Me? Poem by Abiodun Osho

Will You Marry Me?

When my yield no increase
And my pockets lack greese
That could keep me moving
Will you marry me?

If fate refuse to smile on me,
And my purpose takes time to meet
Though storms pull me down the shore
Will you marry me?

When my morning tarries
And my sun in the darks buries
In the absence of the blue moon
Will you marry me?

When the storms arise
And all cast me aside
In the sea that never dries
Will you marry me?

When the green grass wither
And heavens dropp no water
To resuscitate the land
That ougth to wet my hand
will you marry me?

When the sweet apples refuse to grow
On thcsour apple tree below
And I have to wait for years
To wipe off all my tears
Will you marry me?

When I put on the black cloth
nd my look suggests no hope
For getting all the riches
That lies in all ages
Will you marry me?

When the rods that hold you is broken
And your satelite is taken
In the midst of your afflictions
Be sure of my declaration
I will marry you.
