Wilted Love Poem by Hazel Abundancia

Wilted Love

Rating: 5.0

For the man who captures my attention
Who became my only inspiration
I let days go by without noticing
That your love was gradually vanishing

You picked me in times of my trouble
You were there in times of my sorrow
But we’ll be fool if we couldn’t see
How things have changed between you and me

There’s a hell in your hello
Tell me why you want to go
Where’s the good in your goodbye?
If a part of me will die

It kills me to see you walk away
So I turn around and run away
I’m still waiting for our last first kiss
Hoping you’ll kiss my innocent lips

How can you sleep? How can you breathe?
If you’re the one who needed me
How can you act like you don’t care?
If you teach me how to be fair

Is there a chance you may changed your mind?
So, I can change it and make things right
What went wrong in our love story?
When this love was once our glory.

Tell me how does it feel
When our love was still here
What we had was a music in me
A music that lost its harmony

Are we too late? Am I too soon?
To have the stars behind the moon
And make a wish for our love story
That is actually our history.
