Windex Commercial Poem by Arielle Howze

Windex Commercial

You saw my transparency
A clear juxtaposition from your very opaque nature
Like a bird you were deceived and found that although I am transparent,
I am guarded
You flew head first into my window
I'll never forget the sound of your beautiful wing breaking from the impact
Silly bird. No sense. Little brain
Admiring your beautiful reflection from my window pane
Vain!
Nature has a way of ridding itself of the weak
Survival of the fittest
My windows are the clearest
