Wings Poem by nick trager

Wings

Rating: 4.3

Look I got wings
Small fluffy and the color snowy white
Small for now but I say and know they will grow
Longer and stronger then ever before
So I wait and watch them grow
Then soon I will learn to fly in the sky
With all my other brothers and sisters of air
But they say before you can fly you have to fall
Then soon I did learn what they meant by fall
I broke a wing and now have to wait
For that day I can sore in the skies
So I wait and heal
Because when I’m healed I can fly high
With my brothers and sister of the sky
So now I am healed and now know more
Now I’m flying with my family higher then ever before

Well said, Nick. I've often heard it said that 'we get, out of a situation, what we put into it' I believe the same is true of marriage. A marriage is work. A good marriage is a lot of work and a lot of compromise, but well worth the effort. A good write. Thanks Richard
