We chase life’s distant pipe dream,
trying to finish its enduring race
without jumping any of the hurdles;
Hurdles are too challenging for us!
So we find ways to cheat ourselves.
Whether it is taking many shortcuts
or crossing into one another’s lane,
we always try to win without effort!
