Winnow The Day. Poem by Fay Slimm

Winnow The Day.

Rating: 5.0

Surging with eagle wings
Day carries weight.
Watch 'Choice' standing
Legs astride
Defyingly.

We winnow well
Who sift chaff from grain,
Then, hands high,
In day's light,
Send chaff flying.

Fay, each day we have to choose between one or other thing, but its fun to throw the chaff and watch fly away in wind. A short but meaningful poem. Love Bobx
