Winter Forever! ! ! ! Poem by Shagun Khera

Grey, white world,
frozen, timeless, forever,
its the way i see it...
no more of green and blue, sparkles in my eyes,
and i live each moment...
with a hope to die..

faded black lips,
eternal void of memory,
rattle against a corporal emotion,
failing miserably,
and succumbing,
in an endeavor to chase away,
what was hallowed once
in my soul, mind..
it was in my blood...
now, infecting...

melancholy chorus of solitude,
echoes in my head,
you can see it on my face....
how much life,
i've already bled,
roads that take me to nowhere,
prowling thoughts of silent distraught,
and like a victim of life,
i crawl....
hounded by ghosts
of slaughtered smiles...
in my bed i lie...
the sun sets in...
and im still staring at the walls...
where you used to stand...
while you watched me sleep...

its an ethereal winter...
for as long as i shall live...
grey white world...
frozen...to death...
scarred beyond recognition.....
taken beyond time! ! ! ! !
