Winter Me Poem by Sharon Peeples

Winter Me

winter me with frosted leaves
and snowmen wearing hats
children sledding...pink of cheeks
wet boots on doorway mats

winter me with horse-drawn sleighs
that jingle as they go
where breath of riders fog the air
while gliding through the snow

winter me with kisses sweet
to warm the frozen nights
then whisper me with love each day
and fill me with delight

season me in rich displays
with all that I desire
and sit with me to drink a cup
of cocoa by the fire
