~winter's Hold~

Rating: 4.0

Falls whiteness cold upon the cheek
melts unto and down does streak,
Still piling high, around it fills
as coldness stark brings bitter chill.

And by the wood a flame entraps
to huddle near, sealing all gaps
Within a warmth soon burrows deep
as winter's hold loosens its keep.
