Wisdom On It Poem by Francis Duggan

Wisdom On It

Rating: 5.0

It cannot be said that wisdom comes with age
If that was the case every ageing and aged person would be a sage
For proof of that look no further than me
I've seen and heard a lot but not learned from all I did hear and see
In the Human World there is many a surprise
I have known children in their ways quite wise
Young enlightened minds where ignorance abound
Their knowledge of life to say the least profound
That those quite young of life so much do know
One can only ask and how can this be so
Their so called role models do not seem wise in any way
In life we find surprises every day
Not everyone is born to be a sage
And wisdom on it does not have an age.
